Deposit and Refund

1. Deposit terms
- To reserve a SpeedFloor product or configuration, customers may be required to pay a reservation deposit (the “Deposit”).
- The Deposit is deemed paid and effective when the customer submits a reservation and SpeedFloor (or an authorized dealer) successfully receives the Deposit.
- A reservation and Deposit secure the customer’s place in the queue to order a SpeedFloor product but do not constitute a binding purchase agreement or guarantee of availability.
- Product specifications, final pricing, installation details, lead times, and delivery dates will be set out in a separate sales or installation contract and may differ from preliminary information provided at the time of reservation.
- When the customer enters into a definitive order or purchase agreement, the Deposit will be applied as a credit toward the purchase price (or other agreed charges) for the reserved product.
- If the order is not completed within the timeframe specified by SpeedFloor (usually between 6 and 12 months from the reservation date), SpeedFloor may cancel the reservation. In such cases, the deposit will be managed in accordance with this Deposit Policy.
2. Refundability
- The customer may cancel the reservation at any time before signing a purchase or installation agreement by providing written notice to SpeedFloor or by cancelling through any available online account tools.
- Upon a valid cancellation, SpeedFloor will refund the Deposit to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable period, subject to any applicable banking, card network, or payment processor timelines.
- Fully refundable up to 10 days before manufacturing begins
3. No escrow or interest
- The customer understands and agrees that SpeedFloor is not required to hold the Deposit in a separate account, escrow, or trust.
- No interest or other earnings will accrue or be paid on the Deposit, even if the reservation remains open for an extended period or is later cancelled.
4. Transferability
- Unless SpeedFloor expressly agrees in writing, reservations and Deposits are personal to the customer and may not be assigned, sold, or transferred to any other person, entity, dealer, or project.
- Any attempted assignment or transfer without SpeedFloor’s prior written consent will be void.
5. Cancellation by SpeedFloor
In the event of such a cancellation by SpeedFloor, SpeedFloor’s sole responsibility will be to refund any refundable Deposit actually received, and the customer will not be entitled to any additional compensation, damages, or consequential losses.
SpeedFloor may cancel a reservation and refund any refundable Deposit if: (a) the reserved product or configuration will not be offered or will be materially changed; (b) the customer does not respond to reasonable requests to proceed to an order within a reasonable time; or (c) the customer provides inaccurate or misleading information, misuses the reservation process, or fails to comply with applicable terms and policies.
